The storyline

Postby shroomofinsanity » Mon Jun 04, 2012 2:12 pm

So.....I have no idea if anyone else is reading the comic and coming over here....but I am very interested in how the story is moving....it seems a global reset perhaps....I can't wait to see what happens. What are everyone else's thoughts? Hell, if no one else....let's get the writer in here to see if the comic is moving in the way he wanted...

Hey Shrooms! Welcome to our small forum. I apologize for neglecting it but drawing the comic takes most of my free time. We're gonna start an epic-forum-vote battle soon, so get your friends to join!

Anyways, I'll poke Jeff to come in here and answer some questions for you, so feel free to ask him( or me ).

Blue Phoenix here. Former writer of EOTW. Glad to see that someone has taken an interest in the new direction of EOTW. We brought on a new writer sometime last summer as my life does not allow me much time for creative works. He goes by the handle Meyeselph and while I can't speak for him directly I can say that I have enjoyed EOTW thoroughly and with renewed vigor. Even more so when I was writing it. Lord knows Brian and I poured our heart and soul into this for many years and on other projects before EOTW, check out ROM File our first attempt at an online comic. I think it is still online somewhere. Meyeselph brings that love our work to the table every time he sits down to write and he has done a great job of pumping new life into our creation. I know this doesn't exactly answer your question outright, but hopefully my opinion can suffice for now. Thanks for reading!
Keep the faith my friend.

Hey, it's been quite awhile since I posted that question, but I have been reading intently and as of this last comic "The Rift Opens" I am again amazed. Things are getting amazing and climactic. I just wanted to give you guys a big congrats on how this comic is moving, and it is definitely one of my favorite plot based webcomics going right now. I can't wait to see the next installment.

Thank's Shrooms :D

That really means a lot to me. We work really hard to keep stuff like that going and I appreciate anyone who takes to time the read the work we do. Also, I want to apologize for the sporadic updates. Once everything calms down in my life they will return to a more regular schedule.

Well yet again, I'm quite excited to see what happens in the next update. This god of doubt is rather intimidating....I am also rather curious to see what Mr. "I don't have any Blue Phoenix powers anymore" will cope here in the battle. Unless the reboot universe actually gave him real powers again, as i assumed the ones he had there were wrapped up with the persona the new world gave him and left with that persona. Actually I'm curious how either male character will be of use here....and so I wait to see the next stage in this battle.

Your assumption that Brandt didn't keep his reboot powers is correct. The general idea is that any changes made from the characters statis quo from the reboot were rolled back completely by the void energy grenade thingy. Can't wait to see how you like what's coming up!

I'm very excited now to see how these new weapons work out for our wonderful main characters. I had a feeling that once they got the reboot knocked out of them they would be whatever they were before, and it makes sense. So my new far reaching question of the day is the aftermath of this battle. I am intently paying attention and await the next few pages.
