Hello to all there. Current writer for EOTW Meyeselph hijacking this portion of the blog to speak directly with the fans on important comicry matters. We are now getting into a part of the storyline of EOTW where the goal is to provide payoffs for things that have been in the comic’s history for years with little to no follow up.

It goes without saying that we wish to provide the most entertaining reading experience possible and try to have some exposition in the proceedings to guide readers but when I was putting the coming stories together in my head I placed priority of those who are following and paying attention to the entire storyline of EOTW as a whole over those who were simply looking for comic to comic yuks and thrills.

This is a rough sell for some I understand. Over 400 comics is quite a commitment to expect people to get up to date on and some have come to the past simply for EOTW’s random moment to moment humor. Still, my first priority and why I fell in love with the idea of writing for this comic in the first place was thinking about all the people who might have been reading from near the beginning and have been through all the highs and lows the comic has suffered through due to the complex things going on behind the scenes.

Throughout the history of End of The World no one could argue that it’s been a perfect comic, but what it has been throughout it’s history is a labor of love for it’s creators and I like to think that that came across to some readers as much as it came across to me when reading the backlog after meeting Brian. For all those readers that stuck with it and wanted to see exactly where some of this weird shit was going I want to make this a payoff and celebration for what the comic has been in the past, and a bold ambitious look at where it will be in the future.

For those who are new to the end of the world we still care about you and new fans like you are what is needed for the comic to continue to exist. We apologise for being unable to cater to you with a website that includes a new reader’s section and an easier to navigate back catalog. We are working on a site redesign right now with these and many other things in mind but it is slow going for the moment with limited resources.

For now reading the backlog from front to back at your earliest convenience if you have never read it before is the optimal way to enjoy the story we are burning to tell and we will do our best to make the effort and commitment you make to us worth your while.

In closing, we just want to let our fans new and old know that the End of The World team is in the business of telling fun and interesting stories for the long haul and we appreciate your support.
