I almost tossed out the finger idea because I only draw hand with 4 fingers( including thumb ) instead of the normal 5. It’s not because I can’t draw a normal hand, it’s just that’s my style and anytime I draw in the style I’ve formed I only use that many fingers.
Also, I think it’s pretty obvious I went right to classic Star Trek for a reference because before I was hacking at that for an hour trying to get it to look right. I think the little white dots sell it.
