I came across this article earlier today and after spending a day reflecting on the life of Irv Weinstock and thinking about God and Jesus and the here after and so on and so forth I found this as a bit of fresh air. Now I have often butted heads with the tenants of Catholicism, but it would seem we have some common ground on this particular issue. It has always been my humble opinion that creationism and theories such as the big bang have been the same story being told in different ways. The key to both is time. How we experience and interpret time is most likely not the same way God does. Six days for us could be six million years for God. I believe that one day science and faith will merge closer and closer together to a point where the two might not be indistinguishable from the other.
